Boss

What dreaming about boss means

A boss in a dream symbolizes authority, judgment, and how you handle pressure imposed from the outside. It's a figure that often represents not just a real person from work, but a broader theme — your relationship with power and other people's expectations.

A boss's approval usually speaks to a need for recognition, or the sense that your work is valued, even if you rarely hear that directly day to day. Conflict with a boss, or their criticism, can reflect real work stress or worry that you're not meeting expectations someone has of you — not necessarily at work, sometimes at home too. A dream where you're the boss of someone else can signal growing confidence, or readiness to take on more responsibility.

Note whether the boss in the dream resembled your real supervisor or was a completely unfamiliar figure. In a dream journal, like the one in the Lunka app, that detail helps you tell a dream about a specific relationship apart from one about the broader theme of authority.
